Health & Safety

As with all caring employers a safe working environment is of paramount importance for our employees and thus we have taken on the services of Nat West Mentor (Health & Safety Consultancy Services) to assess, operate & monitor all our Health & Safety needs.

Prior to commencement of any contract full and complete risk assessments would be carried out and as necessary safe operating procedures for working would be applied including any specific needs in relation to the risk assessments for that site.

To assist us in achieving a safe working environment we would request that you provide a copy of your Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Rules whilst also advising us of any specific risks or known Health & Safety hazards which may arise at your premises.

Part of the operative’s induction training programme would cover all standard Health & Safety procedures along with any specific requirements relating to your premises.

A copy of all Health & Safety documentation including COSHH data sheets and Portable Appliance Test results (PAT) would be made available if requested as uncontrolled document copies.

On all sites we operate a no smoking policy in accordance with current legislation. Smoking would only be allowed if the staff are working an extended shift (more than 3.5 hours) and that there are specific external smoking areas allocated and available for our staff to use
